TO BE OPEN FOR TRAFFIC IN
10 DAYS. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. NEWYORK, April 30. (Received May 1, at 11.20 a.m.) Goneral Goethals announces that the Panama Canal will be open for freight traffic in 10 days. The interruption of the Tehuantepec route has rendered such action necessary. The first freight cargo will consist of Hawaiian sugar.
