DAMAGES AGAINST A NEWSPAPER. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. BRISBANE, November 17. Tn the libel case Denham Bros, versus the Bnsba.no ' Daily Mail' a verdict was given for plaintiffs for £450 and costs. Of the £450, £SOO was given to the Premier of the State (the Hon. D. E. Denham) and £l5O to Denham Bros. The. jury added a rider that the evidence completely exonerated the. plaintiffs from the_ charges made against them in the Legislative Assembly.
