AUSTRALASIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS. AND NEW ZEALAND REPRESENTATION. [Pee United Peess Association.] WELLINGTON. October 7. At a meeting of the Council of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association a cable was received from Victoria stating that there was great dissatisfaction respecting the possibility of New Zealand not competing at this years Australasian championships at Melbourne. The cable added that New Zealand might expect' Victoria to refuse io guarantee pari of the cost of the American, athletic team’s tour unless a New Zealand team was sent over.
