SUNDAY SCHOOL ANNIVERSARY

ST. KILDA METHODISTS. The 11th anniversary of tho St. Kilda Methodist Sunday School was celebrated last night in the Coronation Hall by an elocutionary and musical festival, a lengthy programme being contributed by the scholars. The Rev. A, J. Seamer, who presided, cojnmended the Sunday school to the consideration of those present, remarking that what they had heard from tho children was sufficient evidence of the possibilities in the future for the children if only they were given an opportunity. He laid great stress upon the fact that parents did not take the interest in Sunday school matters that they should, which was indeed very regrettable. In all the items the youthful performers acquitted themselves admirably, and won due applause from the large audience who were present. Action songs, tableaux, physical exercises, and recitations were all included in the programme, and the items clearly showed that those who organised the entertainment must have gone to a considerable amount of trouble. Credit is due to Mr E. Aslin and those associated with him for tho manner in which everything was arranged and carried out.
