When the Dean of Westminster repeated the Sixth Commandment at yesterday's service 20 suffragettes chanted: “ God save Annie Kenney, Harriet Kerr, and Beatrice Saunders; their enemies torture them.'' The women were ejected after a disturbance. Then another body of suffragettes took up the chant, and they wero also ejected. MORE UNSEEMLY DISTURBANCES, FOLLOWED BY MORE ARRESTS. LONDON, October 6. (Received October 7, at 10.19 a.m.) Annie Kennev was dramatically rearrested tinder the “Cat and Mouse” Act at a, meeting of militants at the Pavilion. The instant she. began her speech the detectives rushed the platform and hustled her out, after a. tierce struggle. The detectives then barred the exits and motored to Holloway Gaol, after a second melee in the street.
The audience, who virro in a great slate of excitement, uttered loud execrations, and two hat* and walking sticks that were captured from the detectives were sold at auction from the platform. Six women and two men (including a clergyman) were arrested for obstructing the police.
