Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.
LONDON, October 6,
In the course of a speech Mr P. Snowden, M.P., attacked the policy of strikes. He said that, paltry and pettifogging as the social legislation of the last few years had been from the standpoint of Socialism, it was equal to, if not in advance of, public opinion. The depression of the Labor party was due to their programme being dished by Lloyd Georgcism, the principle of which was feeding a dog on its own tail. It was deceiving the public, but a day of disillusion would come.
