ORDER OF RECHABITES

I Itf Pride of Roslyn Tent hold their quarterly meeting on Thursday last in tho Roslyn Baptist Schoolroom. The sub-district officers, by invitation of the tent, attended, and took control for tho evening, Bro. Farrant, P.P.C.R.. being in tho chair, in the unavoidable absence ol Bro. Asher, P.C.B. There were also present representatives of almost every tent in the sub-district. Tho main business of the evening «as the initiation of the Rev. E. H. Hobday, an mthusiastic temperance worker,'ns a life honorary member of the Order, and the thanks of tho tent were accorded to the visitors for the way the ceremony was gone through. One benefit candidate was also initiated. Both adult and juvenile balance-sheet,s were read and adopted, and appreciative comment passed thereon. An invitation to a social 1 evening at tho Sobriety Tent was acrepted. Bros. Leitch (Hope of Duneclm), Johnson (Sobriety), Nison (Star of the South), and Farrant (sub-dis-tnct) responded for tho visitors. The Rose of Roslyn Juvenile Tent held their quarterly meeting in the Roslyn Baptist Schoolroom on Thursday evening, Bro. W. Davis, C.8., presiding over a good ‘attendance of members. The balance-sheet showed tho funds of this tent to be. in a flourishihg condition. After the business was finished games wore indulged in.
