The body of Colonel Charles Mocking, a wealthy landowner,' who died in March, 1912, aged 75 years, has been exhumed Inorder of the Home Office, which is inquiring into the circumstances surrounding his death. (Received March 22, at 8.5 a.m.) Colonel Meeking's estate, was valued at over a million. Ho married, secondly, in 1907, the daughter of .a French count, aged 22, and bequeathed his wife £II,OCO annually. The colonel's fortune was derived from his father, the founder of the wellknown drapery and furnishing business now known as Thomas Wallis, of High Holborn.
