At half-past 5 King Georg© left Prince Nicholas's residence, accompanied by his aide-de-camp (Colonel Frankoudis), and just terminated his usual walk. There have been many rumors lately that King George intended abdicating in Prince Constantino s favor after the celebration of his jubilee, which was fixed for September. I he King, while chatting with Frankoudis, said the capture of Salonica and Yanina formed a fitting climax to Ins 50 years’ reign.
