PANIC FOLLOWS A FALSE ALARM. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. BRUSSELS, December 23. (Received December 24, at 10.45 a.m.) There was a. panic in a cinematograph theatre at Barraques, owing to a film catchioS i^i 6 ' Kfty P ersons wer6 injured and 12 killed. Seven hundred were present, and they became panic stricken through a man shouting " Fire " when the film ignited, though the outbreak was immediately extinguished. The occupants of the galleries jumped down on to the spectators below, many of whom were crushed to death during the struggle at the exits.
