At Port Chalmers : Moura, Wakanui, Taviuni, Kauri, Maitai, Progress, IT.M.S. Cambrian (steam). Mokoia, s.s., is due at Dunedin early on Thursday morning from Auckland via East Coast ports. She sails on Friday afternoon on the return trip. Whangape, s.s., reached Port Chalmers to-day from Newcastle. Slie comes up to Dunedin in a day or two to complete her discharge, and then returns to Port Chalmers for survey. Anglo-Mexican, s.s., is expected tomorrow, and will start discharging on Friday. It is hoped to get her away on Saturday for Newcastle. Invercargill. s.s., at present at Dunedin, will lay up till January 3, when she will sail for Invercargill. Maunganui, s.s., arrived at an early hour this morning from Melbourne via Hobart and the Bluff. She sailed this afternoon in continuation of her voyage to Sydney via Lyttelton and Wellington. Wakanui, s.s., at present laid up at Port Chalmers, leaves on Thursday to start Homeward loading at Oamaru. Moure, s.s., was having her compasses adjusted this morning at Port Chalmers. Fog signals boomed at the Heads todav.
