REINFORCEMENTS ASKED FOR.

ST. PETERSBURG, December 22. (Received December 23, at 9.10 a.m.) Advices from Mukden state that Chine"se merchants have received from the Peking Chamber of Commerce a circular urging them, to contribute to a war fund against Riissia. Other t-elegrams indicate that the agitation is serious. British and Russian firms' ask for reinforcements of the railway guard.
