A CENTENARIAN'S DEATH. + _
" Hector Mackinnon, aged 105," reads a death notice in this evening's paper. The old man, who died in the Benevolent Institution, was a native of the Isle of 'Skye, Scotland, and was an old sailor. Ho was in the Union Company's service many years ago, and was at one time quartermaster on the Tarawera. He is not known to have any relation* here. He had a few old Highland friends who visited, him at the institution.
