LISBON, August 26, (Received August 27, at 3.45 a.m.)
Advices have been received that the Governor of Timor (Malay Archipelago), with a small force of infantry and bluejackets, stormed the rebels' stronghold at the bayonet-point, and captured it after 10 hours' fighting. The Portuguese losses were insignificant.
