LODGE MEETINGS.
The weekly meeting of the Rescue Lodgn of Good Templars was held on Tuesday evening in the Oddfellows' Hall, Kensington, the chair being taken by Bro. Jas. Hilton, District Deputy. There was a splendid attendance of members and visitors, and the business was dealt with in a manner that showed that members had the lodge's welfare at heart. One candidate was initiated. Reports were received in connection with the Sunday night temperance meetings, and the Bazaar Committee reported that a meeting would be held shortly to arrange details, etc. The lodge derided to officially visit the Hope of Caversham Lodge. After the business had been dealt with, the members enjoyed a social hour. The vote of thanks to the visitors was responded to by Sister Barrett (Pioneer of Wellington), Bro. W. Hoinell (Alliance), and sisters from the Hope of .D*m*dur and Jfefie of Cavershaia, ,
