The Government have decided to postpone consideration of the National Lisuranco Bill till the autumn session. Tho Manchester Unity are- urging that consideration of the Bill ho postponed until 1912, in order to give time to consider such a complicated measure. The Government's recent concessions to the doctors have increased the friendly societies' opposition. Mr Lloyd George will move on Thursday in favor of payment of meruboio at tlie rate of £4OO a year, all members receiving official sj-lariei, to lie excluded.
