At the Crystal Palace J/ord Desborough presided at a dinner, and presented the Lonsdale Cup to the Canadians, and also the inter-Empire medals. He congratulated the oversea representatives on coming thousands of mile* to participate, thus proving that they were animated by the best feeling of sportsmen. He announced, in connection with the Olympia frainos in 1912, that arrangements were being made for the British, Australasian. Canadian, and South African teams to train together in England and then go to Stockholm (where the games will be held) as an Empire team, if possible. Mr R.
