ROSLYN PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.
Tlie annual report refers to the. appointment of the Rev. W. Grey Dixon as successor to the Rev. Jas. Chisholm, and says that the best anticipations of the congregation have been more than realised. During the year there has been a net increase of 43 to the communion roll, which now stands at 219. Regret is expressed that pressure of other engagements compelled Captain Strang to resign the superintency of the Sabbath school at the New Tear, and satisfaction that a worthy successor was forthcoming in Mr William Anderson. The organist and choirmaster (Mr Lindley) continues in charge of the choir, and there is now the immediate prospect of the aid of a fine organ.
