Mr J. Pointer (I-abox member for Sheffield), writing in the Labor newspaper, accused the. Speaker of miserable and pitiable failure in dealing with Mr Asquith's shouting down. Sir M. lx»ckwood (U-) raised the question in the House of Commons, when 51 r Pointer apologised, and withdrew his criticism of Mr Lowthcr's action on that occasion.
