Mr Wado had an interview with the Lieutenant-Governor, and it is understood that he is trying to form a Ministry. NO CHANGE IN THE SITUATION. SYDNEY, July 31. (Received July 51, at 9.15 a.m.) The political situation is unaltered. MrWade saw the Lieutenant-Governor on Saturday, but nothing was disclosed. Mr Briner now staffs that he will supperl the Labor, party as long as they do not make extreme proposals. ATTACKING THE ACTING GOVERNOR. SYDNEY, July 31. (Received July 31. at 9.40 a.m.) At the commercial travellers' dinner Mr Griffith (ex-Minister of Lands) attacked the. Lieutenant-Governor (Sir W. P. C'ullenl. The. electors had said emphatically that the Labor party were to govern, but Sir William Cullen had said somebody else, should govern. Mr Storey (leader of the Independents) predicted a dissolution very shortly. Mr Dunn now regrets his resignation, since the Caucus have, decided to preserve, the existing rights of settlers under the Conversion Act, and submitted his name. to the Mud gee League for re-election, but the league declined to consider it, and submitted the 7)ame of Mr Car] Johnson to the Central Executive.
