THE WOODHADGH RESERVE.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir. —The chairman of the self-styled Citizens’ Committee evidently considers (vide your issue of to-night) that the presentation to his fellow-citizens of a full and exact report of his committee’s intentions would not he judicious. The report will therefore bo prepared for the select approval of the Reserves Committee. I do not question the soundness of the chairman’s diplomacy, but as a ratepayer who has had no interest in either deputation allow rne to suggest to our council representatives the _ advisability of testing public opinion before allowing any portion of the reseryes to become alienated from their original purpose. The attempt on the Northern Recreation Ground is not yet forgotten.—l am, etc.. Flora. July 28.
