TO-DAY’S CONTEST. Frees Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. "SYDNEY, July 29. Arnst aud Pearce made their linal deposits yesterday. Latest reports state that both scullers are thoroughly wound up and fit. A great race is anticipated, with intense interest'. (Received July 29, at noon.) The weather is fine, and promises to be warmer. The forecast predicts a light westerly wind, which will be in favor of the scullers. Amst weighs 13.5 and Pearce 12.10. [The result of the race, with some dotails as to how it was won, will be found in our Sports Special, published at 7.30 to-night.]
