CANADIAN POLITICS.
AN EARLY DISSOLUTION PROBABLE. Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright. "OTTAWA, July 28. (Received July 29, at 9 a.m.) Election activity has begun in Quebec Province, where the French Nationalist leaders are arranging a campaign. The chief plank in their platform is opposition to Sir W. Laurier’s naval policy. Sir W. Lauricr, in the Dominion House of Commons, announced that as soon as the vote has been taken on the Reciprocity Agreement the House will proceed to discuss the Estimates. As the Conservatives have pledged themselves to refuse Supply until the elections have been held on the Reciprocity issue, the Premier’s statement is taken to mean an immediate dissolution of Parliament.
