The executive of the O.H.A. held their weekly meeting last night. Correspondence was received from the Wellington Hockey Association stating that approximate dates for the remaining shield matches, in the event of Wellington still retaining the shield, wer©: Auckland, August 12; Neleon, August 26 ; and Otago, Sep*:mber 9. Wellington would bo agreeable to an exchange of dates for the hist two matches if the association*; concerned so desired.—Resolved to agree to September 9. From the N.Z.H.A. stating that Otago's euggestions as to amendments to the rules of the game had been referred to a subcommittee for consideration.—Received. From the South Canterbury Hockey Association suggesting August, 10 as a suitable date for their match against an Otago No. 2 team, to be played at Timaru.— Agreed to. , Fiom the South Canterbury Referees Association submitting the nr.mes of Messrs K. Anderson, S. Brookes, and W. W. Smith as referees for the South CanterburyOtago match.—lt was decided to leave the matter of appointing a referee to the South Canterbury Association. From the Southland Hockey Association stating that August 5 would not be a suitable date fox them to send a team to Dunedin, and suggesting that the match be played after the return of the Otago team from the North.—Received. From the Taranaki Hockey Association asking that the Otago team include a match against Taranaki in their tour.—Consideration was deferred for one week, pending a report on the cost and the extra time that would be involved. It was decided that the final of tho senior scven-a-side tournament be played at 2.30 on Saturday next.
