CONSCIENCE MONEY AFTER FIFTY YEARS.
Some fifty years ago a little boy stole the sum of lid from a missionary "bos at the. MasbaroHgh Independent Sunday School. On Sunday, May 7, an envelope containing a postal order" and letter dated Sheffield, 6th May, 1911, was handed to one of the teachers at the school by an elderly man, who declined to give his name. The letter was written with copyingink pencil, and was evidently tear-stained. It was as follows : It has come to me that when I was a little boy attending vour Sunday school I was tempted to take lid out of one of your missionary boxes. I have been sorry for it. I hope you will forgive me for it, and the Lord Christ, as I want to be with. Him and those that have gone ... to Him who were members of the Independent Chapel at the top of Chapel walk, Masborough. Will you kindly pray for me, as I daren't send my name. I am 63 years old. He also expressed a wish that others should be warned not to take dishonestly One farthing.
