ST. PAUL'S LADIES’ GUILD.
The sale of work for which the members of tho St. Paul's Cathedral Ladies' Guild have been working for sumo time was opened this afternoon at the Schoolroom hi Stuart street. There was no formal cere- , inony—that takes place this evening at 7.30,' when tho Mayor o/ Dunedin (Mr IV. Humett) will preside. Tho sale of work will extend over Thursday and Friday, both afternoon and evening, and each evening patrons will ho provided with an entertainment. That for to-night lias been organised by Miss Gard’ncr, and it will be of a. miscellaneous character. To-morrow evening ;x dramatic entertainment, arranged by Miss Leech, will bo given, and on Friday Mr F. Little's comedy comjtany will provide tho fare. As to the articles for sale, they are of all descriptions, and one of the features is the line display of copper and brass work. In connection with the Guild a presentation was made yesterday by Mrs Gould, on behalf of members, to Mrs Gibson Smith, one of the vice-presidents, the gift being an embroidered linen bed-spread. Tho following is the list of stallholders : Guild Stall.—Mrs Gibson Smith, Mrs J. H. Dickinson, Mrs lligginson, Mrs V\ ilson. Sweet Stall. —Mrs Gibb, Miss Grcenslade. Miss Gibb. Produce Stall.—Mrs Moore, Mrs Hinney, Miss Campbell. Pie Stall.- —Mrs Pinel, Mrs Manley. Girls’ Stall.—Mrs Stutham ami members of Girls’ Guild. Novelty Shill.—Mrs Spodding, Mi’s Taylor, Miss T. Spedding, Miss F. Brown. Flower Stall.—Mrs Oaten, Mrs A. Higgintxm. Tea Room.—Mrs Haggitt, Mit; Oldham, Miss Williams, Miss Tapper. Doll Stall. —Miss Neale and Muss Keeling. Gentlemen’s. —Misses 0. Burnett and D. Hamilton.
