At Gore In the afternoon lie inspected the Mat aura Mounted Rifles awl Territorials. He said it wa-s the largest muster of any mounted company ho had vol seen in tho Dominion, and expressed Lis pleasuro at tho appearance of the men. Addressing tlie citizens in the evening, tho Commandant, said that Gore would be. an important military centre in the future. He explained the scheme, and appealed for the people's the denominational question, ho said thai a mountain was being mado out of a molehill. He saw no reason why sonior cadets who wished to be together should not be trained together.
