There was an old couple, Mr and Mrs Koike.,, whom ho knew personally, residing upon the royal estate at Dcrsingham, .Norfolk. who had for a long time been tenants of King Kdward and had since been tenants of King George. His Majesty ended upon thorn some time ago in a friendly, unceremonious way ami chatted with them. On leaving, the King Jit a cigar and offered one to Mr Koikes, who thanked His Majesty most heartily, adding that lie did not often gel a chance to smoke cigars.as hi-s income did not permit him to do so.
