FREEZING AND PACKING RABBITS. INTERFERENCE IN RAILWAY POLICY. Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, May 1. (Received May 1, at 9.5 a.m.) Mr Trefl'; (Agricultural Department) states tliat tho Government have made arrangement for freezing aad packing \uhDits. This action has been taken to guard against a corner in freezing Gpaco beirg created in the interests of a favored few.
Speiking at Bat hurst, Mr Beeby (Minister of Labor) said that he and some other membeniof the Ministry wereof opinion that Parliament should have control of all mattens of policy in connection with the railways. Sunh powers hitherto had been eolely in the hands of the Commissioners.
