THE MOSGIEL FAIR

Yesterday afternoon, at the summer fair promoted by the Methodist Church of Mosgiel, the Ktv. W. H. Abbey introduced tho Fon. T. Mackenzie, who made a short fir-ccch in declaring the fair open. Ho complimented the management and tho exhibitors, and said lis hoped the fair would : become a permanent institution. The judging of the flower, fruit, and vegetable ; sections was carried out by Mr W. J. i Cousins, the industrial work was judged l !,y Messrs Sinclair and Mitchell, and the : juvenile work by Mr* Valentino and Mr Moir.
