Patrols, each thirty strong, and armed witli carbines, are stationed in tho disturbed districts. 'The police announce that if rioting bo renewed and sabres prove unavailing tho patrols will lie down, and every third man will lire at the legs of the mob. If tho rioters still do not flee the remainder of the patrols will fire. A special edition of the ‘Voerwarts’ (Socialist) was distributed in the disturbed districts. It urges the workmen and tho workmen's wives .not to participate in the rioting or to go into the streets out of curiosity. 1
