Mr J. C. Williamson has secured the Australian and Now Zealand rights of Conan Doyle's ’’Speckled Band.’ [Mr Williamson, accompanied by Harold Ashton, is at present on a visit to/ London in search of attractions. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, physician, novelist, and dramatist, wrote ‘ Sherlock Holmes,' m conjunction with •-William Gillette, and ‘Brigadier .Gerard.’ Both these pieces were good drawing cards in Dunedin.]
