CHRISTCHURCH, July 8. Replying to a- correspondent who telegraphed to the Prime Minister urging that the Government should toko stops to stop the exhibition of tho Reno light pictures in Now Zealand, Sir Joseph Ward has wired “Tho matter is one entirely governed by legislation, and it is not possible to decide whether tho pictures are such as should bo prohibited until they have been produced. I assure yon, however, that any evasion of the law will bo promptly dealt with.”
