The Agricultural Department is actively prosecuting its campaign against noxious and nine settlers, for failing to destroy ragwort on their properties, wero each lined in sums ranging from 10s to £3 i)V Mr Eyre Kenny, S.M. The Bench wiiined the defendants that a second appeaianco would mean a severe penalty.
