THEIR AMENDMENTS REJECTED. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, November 25. (Received November 26, at 8.25 a.m.) By 246 to 49 the House of Commons rejected the Lords' vital amendment to tho Government's Irish Land Purchase Bill, requiring an appeal to a judicial tribunal, instead of to the Land Commission, prior to the compulsory purchase of an estate. The Unionists urged that the rejection of tho Lords’ amendment would imperil the fate of tho Bill.
