The Cardinal Archbishop of Malines (Belgium) and the Belgian bishops have addressed their thanks to Archbishop Bourne, of Westminster, for refusing to take part m the Congo demonstration at the Albert Hall on the 19th inst. [A very large number of Catholics and practically all the Catholic authorities have consistently denied the accuracy of the reports from consuls, commissions, travellers, and missionaries in relation to the Congo infamies.] MR MORELS CAMPAIGN. A CONFERENCE TO BE CALLED. LONDON. November 25. (Received November 26, at 8.25 a.m.) Mr Morel, speaking at Hull, announced that air understanding had been reached between Great Britain and Germany regarding the Congo, and that an International Conference would shortly be summoned. The Chamber of Commerce at Bremen have sent the Primate of England a message of sympathy endorsing" the Albert Hall Congo resolutions. ;
