A report from the newly -appointed master of the Electric Company's No. 3 dredge slates that he expect* to have tho dredge in fairly good order, if the river allows, and in a position" to start about Thursday. The lusp and Shine No. 1 dredge worked a cut of 500 ft last week, making 4fl, ahead. The depth, was from 42ft to 48ft, with Iwtvoid consisting of various clays and some coal. Prospects in . the western section were good. The prevent week's return will be got from the eastern half of the cut, and may not be equal to last week's. No. 2 dredge made Bft ahead on a cut of 520 ft, having a depth of from 32ft to 42ft. With the exception that the coal bottom in the west corner rose a good deal, there was no 1 change in tho-character of tho-.oraimd. -A
