THE DAVIS CUP COMPETITIONS. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, April 21. (Received April 21, at 10.30 a.m.) The Lawn Tennis Association have agreed to the wish of New Zealand that a new body -be formed to control the contests for the Davis Cup, representation to be on the basis of the population of the States and New Zealand, and that the net proceeds of the Davis competition be set apart for international tennis purposes.
