ASPHALT WANTED.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —I would like to know (like a lot more) when that piece of footpath at the Oval is going to be asphalted. We have done all the tramping down of the first lot of clay needed, and have now started to tramp down the cinders, which make one s boots lather dusty. I think it is about time the asphalt was laid.—l am, etc., Ratepayer. April 19.
