The service was conducted hv ' the Rev. W. Hewitson; B.A. Previous to the usual sermon. Mr Hewitson gave an informative address on the work"of thy Australasian Student Christian Union and of the world-wide organisation of which it I forms a part. The subsequent rermon, j based on a text from the prophecy of : Jeremiah, dealt with tho national need of ' just and wise men.
