On Saturday the first competition this year for the Bunedin district Champion Bugle was fired at the Peliehet Bay Range. The weather conditions were against good shooting. Eleven teams entered for the competition, and the afternoon ended with a substantial lead of 33 points by the North Bunedin Rifles from the Engineers.' The onlj possible registered on the-day was by PrivaU W. Crimp, of Gteen -Island Bines, at thi 500 yds range.
