DIPHTHERIA AT KAITANGATA.

SEVEN CASES; ONE DEATH. ISOLATION ORDERED. Mr J. H. Walker, chairman of the Charitable Aid a.nd Hospital Boards, to-day received word from the Health Department of an outbreak of diphtheria at Kaitang£ita. Seven cases hve been reported. One patient is dead, and three others are in a serious condition. Mr Walker at once got into telephonic communication with Dr Fitzgerald, and finding that isolation of the cases -was imperative, gave instructions for a temporary erection to be put up at Kaitanguta this afternoon.
