May wheat slumped to 116 cents and July wheat to 114 cents until fifteen minutes before the close, when Air Patten' furiously bought 3,000,000 bushels. May wheat then recovered to 127 i cents and July to Hs| cents. , Enormous business was transacted. WASHINGTON, April 16. Air Scott, Chairman of the Committee on Agriculture, has introduced a Bill in the House of Representatives prohibiting dealing in future in wheat, cotton, or agricultural produce.
