MUCH EXCITEMENT. MANY ARRESTS. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. CALCUTTA, March 9. (Received March 10, at 8.12 a.m.) The police have arrested a Bengali in connection with the theft of 1601b of dynamite and a quantity of fuses from the Hazarabagh magazine. Seven others were arrested for complicity in an Anarchist conspiracy. The Council's Bill is causing much excitement in India, and the meetings held in many towns illustrate the rivalry between Moslems and Hindus. At Lahore the Mahomedans desire no Executive Council for the Punjab, and in the event of a change they will demand a separate Moslem representative.
