DOMINION RUBBER COMPANY.
The first annual meeting of the Do minion Rubber Comnany was held this afternoon. Mr W. L. Simpson (chairmai of directors) *aid that 125 acres of lane had been fully planted, and some 50,0iA reeds had been sawn, to supply "stumps' for transplanting. lire cost had been 19per acre, or cs lVk.ie than the estimate and rubber " .-i-imps " coi-t 6s 6d insteac of is 4ct per 100. The report and balance-sheet weTt adopted, and the retiring directors (Messrs W. L. Simpson and A. Anderfi6n) were reelected.
