GOOD TEMPLARY.

The weekly meeting of the Star of Freedom Lodge was held in the lodge room. Kaikorai. on Thursday. Tiro. Cocking, C.T.. presiding over a fair attendance >f members and visitors. One brother was admitted as an associate member of the lodge. It was resolved to pay an oihYial visit to the Rescue Lodge, and to visit the Kvergrenn Lodge. Rro. ll"s spoke on the good of the Order. There being no further business, harmony was indulged in. the following contributing:—Bio. Don i-ong). Sis. Ross isong!. Sis. Burns (song). Rro. Paterson (song). Sis. Winder irecitation). Sis. H. Kennedy (recitation), and Sis. Holbrook (.-•ong). The vote of thanks was responded to by members of the following lodges : Rescue, Hope of Dunedin, arid Liiv of the Vallev.

The Hope of Dunedin bodge held thenweekly meeting in the Tailoie.-ses' |[ ; ,i], howling street, on Friday, Bro. Uraham, <".T.. presiding over a good attendance! The lodge decided to support the Temperance candidates at the coming licensing poll. A good programme of harmony -was contributed by several members and visitors, including the Hope of Dunedin Glee Club. Votes of thanks were responded to by representatives of all the lodges in the' city and suburbs. "
