Under the management of the present “ Moderate ” candidates arrests for drunkenness, which were reduced to 534 in 1905 under our Committee, again increased to 772 in 1908. ******* All the cabs in the City were engaged months ago by Mr Haydon, licensee of the Central Hotel, and will no doubt be used on election day. ******* That the “ trade ” do not spend money unless for some advantage to themselves. They expect this advantage from the eocalled “ Moderate ” Committee. ******* On Monday evening next, at the Alhambra Theatre, at eight o’clock, a final rally will be held. Dr B. E. De Lautonr and Mr H. D. Bedford will deal fully with the articles that have appeared in the Press leading columns. Roll up, and let us have a good rally for the finish. [No-license par.—Advt.]
