WELLING 1 OX, December 29. A conference of delegates representing the General Laborers' Union was opened to-day. The Conference will be pi-incipnjly engaged on business connected with the internal working of the union. Other matters to be discussed will include the question of establishing a weekly journal, and also proposals for the more' complete organisation of working men. Mr J.
