JAPAN SUGGESTS A CONFERENCE. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. TOKIO, October 24. Japan desires a Conference of the Powers interested hi Ihe Pacific to discuss and settle matters containing possibilities for future friction. It is stated that Japan is prepared to convene such a Conference, unless Great Britain or the United States takes tho initiative.
