AFRAID TO ANSWER THE QUESTION.
asked the liquor representative plainly whether ho would answer Yea or No to our query : “Axe you prepared to stand or fall by tho arrests or drunkenness?” • He will not reply. Ho dare not say either Yes or No. He desires to have it so that when it euils liim he .can condemn No-litenso on arrests, and when it suits him he can disregard arrests; and though the figures show* on his own test, that ia a success, he still proclaims it a failure. Public opinion should condemn a ,'man. who. blows hot and cold like this. [No-licence par No. 12. (By arrangement.)
